About Andie ~
I discovered birthwork like most doulas through my own experiences of mothering and recognising the issues and needs in our current culture and feeling called to meet them somehow in a loving way. My passion is supporting parents to experience growing their families on their own terms, helping them to access the community and resources they need to make their own choices and to have a positive and empowering experience of bringing their little ones into the world.

The idea of creating baskets full of grandmother medicine to honour and nourish women through the big transitions in their lives from maiden to matriarch came to my while working as a rural doula alongside being a mother and whilst journeying through menopause myself. I wanted to find a way to gather lots of love and nourishing care together in a way which really celebrates these huge milestones whilst also helping to soothe hearts and restore energy and build strength when its most needed. An offering which could be sent to anyone no matter where they live and which could help them to feel seen, supported and celebrated as women.

New Moon Basket for Young Women ~ to nourish and honour young women at menarche and beyond, to soothe wombs and nerves and to promote self care

Full Moon Basket for Mothers ~ to lovingly support and honour matrescence and bring warmth and nourishment to the MotherBaby in the postnatal period

Wise Moon Basket for Matriarchs ~ to honour and support the menopause journey and stepping into power through nourishing the womb and heart and to bring calm and strength to where its needed

Each basket includes a selection of handmade items made by me using ingredients which have been ethically foraged and gathered with conscious awareness of the sun, moon and seasons as well as the spirits of plant and place. I imbue all of my products with Reiki and prayers for the health and wholeness of those who will receive them.
